Tools for Parents

Special support for children and teenagers with alopecia

What do we offer?

The association offers you – parents of children with alopecia areata – several tools that will help cope with the disease emotionally and socially. The parent guidance program adapts to parents of infants, young children up to teenagers. The guidance is personal, in a face-to-face meeting or "Zoom" meeting, and is conducted by professional guides at an equal price for everyone.

Educational System Support

Resources for children in the education system from pre-kindergarten to end of high school. The resources are videos and a presentation designed to help a child who needs to present the disease in kindergarten or school, whether when signs of the disease appear or when moving to a new framework in a new year.

Explanation to the Environment

The video will serve you to explain and highlight the disease to the child's friends in kindergarten or class, to alleviate fears of friends and their parents, and to help the educational team who may not be familiar with the disease. Lack of recognition of the disease can lead to exclusion of the child, isolation, or even teasing and bullying. Proper explanation will raise awareness, understanding, smiles and connection to your child.
